Southington police made a pair of arrests after receiving notice from the Connecticut State Police, Sex Offender Registry Unit about locals who did not comply with the state’s sex offender registry guidelines.
On Wednesday, Feb. 17, Mark Wade Singleton, 38, of Marion Avenue in Plantsville, turned himself into police after learning about a warrant for his arrest. The investigation began when Singleton did not submit an address verification form within the statutorily required time frame.
Singleton was charged with failure to register. He was processed and released on a $5000 bond with a court appearance of Feb. 29, 2016.
On Thursday, Feb. 18, Anthony R. Esposito, 45, of Sunnyridge Drive in Plantsville, turned himself into police after learning about a warrant for his arrest. The investigation began when Singleton did not submit an address verification form within the statutorily required time frame.
Esposito was charged with two counts violation of the sex offender registry. He was processed and released on a $5,000 bond with a court appearance of Feb. 29, 2016.
