Police cited four men for smoking marijuana in a parked car on Redstone Street as a result of an investigation by an officer on patrol.
On Friday, Sept. 9, the officer initiated a suspicious motor vehicle investigation when he smelled the strong odor of burnt marijuana. Officers searched the vehicle, and the people found in and around the vehicle. The investigation turned up small amounts of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. All the parties involved admitted smoking the marijuana.
Orlando T. Zabka, 18, of Bristol; Hunter Saulnier, 18, of Bristol; Daniel Milligan, 18, of Bristol; and Brian Achim, 18 of Meriden were each issued infractions for possession of less than one half ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia with less than one half ounce of marijuana.
All four were given an answer date of Sept. 23, 2016.
