umped the counter and grabbed the clerk by the shirt, pulling him to the cash register telling him and forcing him to open the register. Once the cash register was opened the suspect grabbed the cash drawer and the cash under the drawer and fled the store. The suspect made away with approximately $180.
Police describe the suspect as. wearing brown just above the ankle work boots, black wind pants with a light colored stripe down the outside of both legs, a white colored hoodie, along with a black jacket turned inside out showing the color black that had a gray attached hood. The suspect wore what appeared to be baggy white socks or mittens taped with dark tape around the wrist area.
Later that night the Waterbury police Department located a cash register drawer in the garbage can of the WINNZ Gas and Goods located at 3484 East Main St., in Waterbury. It is believed that this is the register drawer from the Southington robbery.
