On Wednesday, March 16, Southington police served a warrant to a Hamden woman at the Bristol Superior Court for a 2014 forgery investigation.
Laquana McNatt, 29, of Hamden was arrested and charged with fourth degree larceny and two counts of second degree forgery. The warrant stems from an incident that occurred in Southington on July 12, 2014.
The warrant alleges that on or about McNatt was visiting an acquaintance’s residence in Southington on July 12, 2014, and during the visit she took checks from a checkbook she found within the residence. The warrant also alleges that McNatt forged and then cashed two checks .
The first check was for $500 and the second check was for $750.
