Jenier Huertas
Jenier Huertas, 24, of Manchester turned himself in to Southington police on Tuesday, May 2, around 7 p.m., after learning of an active warrant for his arrest.
The warrant stems from an incident on Feb. 11, 2016 when Huertas allegedly cashed a forged check in the amount of $1,200. The check was originally issued by Chuck and Eddie’s Auto in Southington but was then allegedly altered to be made out to Huertas. The check was cashed by Huertas at a bank in East Hartford.
Huertas was charged with fourth degree larceny, second degree breach of peace, and third degree forgery. He was held on a $2,500 bond and was scheduled to appear at the Bristol Superior Court on May 3, 2016.
